MISSOULA — Early in the second half of Saturday night's top-10 matchup at Washington-Grizzly Stadium, Montana's offense needed a catalyst.

Despite holding Idaho to 131 total yards of offense in the first half — only 35 passing yards — the Griz led Idaho by just 11. UM's opening drive stalled out in a field goal. Both of Montana's first-half touchdowns came on short fields.

On the opening drive of the third quarter, the Griz found their catalyst.

"He's a dynamic player," Idaho head coach Thomas Ford Jr. said of Montana's Michael Wortham. "If he has the ball in his hands, he can make a ton of plays."

On third down at Idaho's 37-yard line, 14 yards from the first-down marker, Wortham hauled in a 12-yard reception from Ah Yat that produced a manageable fourth-and-two play.
