LAFAYETTE COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) - The Mayo community came together with a bake sale on Saturday to support a family who recently lost two teens in a deadly Lafayette County crash.

The bake sale raised more than $2,500. The community plans to have a cake auction next for the family in October.

Community member, Sharon Shasteen, set up the sale for the family. Even though she didn’t know the family, she said her heart hurt for their mother.
