ATHENS, Ga. (WSAV) -- The Georgia Bulldogs fell at home to Alabama, 24-21, ending the nation's longest home winning streak in FBS at Sanford Stadium on Sept. 27.
The loss snapped a 33-game home winning streak. Georgia Kirby Smart dropped to 1-7 against Alabama, where he was the defensive coordinator before becoming the head coach at UGA.

Georgia suffers its first loss of the season. The Bulldogs have a chance to take the first step in starting another home winning streak on Oct. 4 when they host Kentucky. Kickoff for the game is set for noon.
