Runners on the embankment heading towards the finish
The organisers of this year's Robin Hood Half Marathon and Mini Marathon have praised everyone taking part in this year's events, which saw a record-breaking 14,000 runners take to the streets in Nottingham. This included elite athletes through to first-time participants.
A record 22 charities were represented on race day. Participants were not only chasing personal bests but also supporting a wide range of local and global causes.
Euan Wilson claimed victory in the men’s race with a winning time of 01:09:32, followed closely by Philip Neilson in second place with 01:09:55, and Simon Davis rounding out the podium.
