Mercer Island High School’s Homecoming Parade generated plenty of smiles on the evening of Sept. 26 along 86th Avenue Southeast and Southeast 42nd Street. Leading the parade were MIHS instructor Tyson Peters, who was voted grand marshal by the student leadership, and MIHS instructor Alma Parness, who was voted staff royal by the student body.
