OROVILLE, Calif. - A section of Forest Road 23N60 in the Plumas National Forest will close for reconstruction starting Monday, September 29.
The United States Forest Service says the closure will impact approximately 3 miles of Forest Road 23N60 located on the Feather River Ranger District.
The road will be closed between Forest Roads 23N15 and 23N60F, near Little North Fork Trailhead and Campground on one end, and Skyhigh Trailhead on the other, northwest of Glazer Ridge.
Contractors are set to begin work on Monday, with the project expected to last several weeks.
The road will be impassable for vehicles and pedestrians during the reconstruction to ensure safety. Signs will be posted at both ends of the closed section, and residents and visitors are urged to avoid the area.
