JUSTIN Bieber's mum has asked fans to pray for the star and they are convinced it's related to his ex-Selena Gomez's wedding.

The Only Murders In The Building actress tied the knot with Benny Blanco in a romantic California ceremony.

Justin's mother Pattie Mallette , 50, took to her Instagram profile to share a number of monochrome snaps of the global superstar.

The Never Say Never hitmaker appeared with his buzz-cut hairstyle and a short-sleeved t-shirt which was emblazoned with the words, 'pray for me' on the back.

Alongside the album, she issued a cryptic prayer for her son in the caption which read: "We’re cheering you on and praying for you always Justin."
