The New Orleans Saints had gone nine straight games without an opening drive touchdown dating back to last year, but they were able to break through against the Buffalo Bills.
The Saints snapped their nine-game opening drive touchdown drought, which led the NFL, by putting together a 7-play drive totaling 69 yards that ended with an 18-yard touchdown run by Kendre Miller. The score saw the Saints tie the game 7-7 in Week 4 against the Bills at Highmark Stadium.
Miller's touchdown run was the first opening drive touchdown for the Saints since a Week 11 win last season against the Cleveland Browns in which Taysom Hill ran in a 10-yard touchdown to give the Saints an early 7-0 lead.
The opening drive touchdown against the Bills also marked the first time this season that the Saints score
