Revellers are getting pie-eyed at Greggs’ first ever pub which is serving doughnut ale along with its baked goods. They say it’s the “perfect combination” and praised the “absolutely amazing” the booze and grub at The Golden Flake Tavern. ‌

The opening day inside Newcastle’s Fenwick department store on Saturday saw long queues which suggests it is destined to be a tasty money-spinner. ‌
