Calling them the “living embodiment of service and sacrifice", Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha hailed the recipients of Network18 Group’s ‘Pride of Jammu & Kashmir’ awards.

Sinha said the awardees have displayed exceptional courage, compassion, and humanity, while inspiring society at large.

“Those who have been honoured today are true role models. In life, a person may achieve wealth, position, and titles, but the greatest happiness comes from serving others and alleviating their pain. That is the highest duty of humanity," he said. “This initiative not only honours their contribution but also inspires citizens to come forward during crises and natural disasters."
