The Siskiyou Humane Society puts on the dog for its Garden Party and Silent Auction at Native Grounds Nursery and The Garden Tap in Mount Shasta.

The animal shelter and rescue hosts its annual fundraiser "in the lush golden-hour beauty" of the nursery from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 28, at 1172 S Mount Shasta Blvd. in Mount Shasta, according to an announcement issued by the shelter

The event includes live music by North State artist and The Brothers Reed member Phil Reed, a selection of wines and beers, drinks, appetizers and desserts. The curated silent auction includes items and experiences up for bid. There will also be dogs up for adoption, said shelter spokesperson Lola Victor.

Proceeds from the auction and desserts and donations help support the Siskiyou Humane Society'
