OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - One person was sent to the hospital after a shooting in North Omaha early Sunday morning.
Omaha Police responded to a shots fired call near the area of 48th Avenue and Nicholas Street just before 5 a.m. Sunday morning.
At the scene, officers found a man with a gunshot wound in his arm.
“At this point, we have no suspect information, and we’re currently attempting to locate evidence and witnesses as well,” OPD Lt. Sean Sheridan told First Alert 6 this morning.
Police said the victim’s injuries are not considered to be life threatening.
