Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised President Donald Trump for being an “incredible friend” to Israel, pointing to numerous actions Trump took in his first and current terms in office.
Netanyahu will meet with Trump at the White House on Monday, roughly a week after the United Kingdom , France , and other countries recognized a Palestinian state. Trump met with eight Arab and Muslim rulers during the United Nations General Assembly to lay out a 21-point plan to end the Gaza war, receiving support from all of them .
