1. Oregon

Dan Lanning, Dante Moore and the Ducks looked completely unfazed by the Penn State whiteout Saturday night. Impressive as it was for Ohio State to shut out then-top-ranked Texas in Week 1, Oregon’s 30-24 win on the road over a top two team is better.

2. Ohio State

I’m keeping the Buckeyes at No. 2 after their defensively dominant 24-6 win at Washington. I previously had Penn State at No. 1 and outlined above why I jumped Oregon over Ohio State.

3. Miami

There’s an argument to be made for Miami above Ohio State with the Hurricanes’ wins over Notre Dam
