President Donald Trump has pledged to send troops to Portland, to protect federal ICE facilities. Local leaders in Washington, including Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell and U.S. Senator Patty Murray, condemned the threat as "illegal, authoritarian," and an attempt to silence free speech.
