Teenager Jay Slater travelled to Tenerife with his friends for a summer holiday - but tragically never returned.

The 19-year-old from Lancashire travelled to a remote Air BnB in the remote village of Masca before vanishing, the night after partying with pals at the NRG music festival in Playa de las Americas on June 16 last year.

His sudden disappearance, which was reported after a phone call with a friend before his phone ran out of battery, gained national and international headlines. His tormented family flew out to the holiday hotspot as emergency crews were drafted in to help with the large-scale search.
