The New York Giants went into their Week 4 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers with hopes of a fresh start , but were met with an injury to their star wide receiver.

Malik Nabers went up for a pass from quarterback Jaxson Dart in the second quarter. His knee appeared to buckle , he came down without the ball and was holding his right knee.

The Giants ruled Nabers out for the remainder of the game before the second half.

The belief is that Nabers tore his ACL, NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported .

Nabers was in visible pain and was carted the locker room as several of his Giants teammates surrounded him. He was emotional as the cart took him to the locker room.
