GROVE CITY, Pa. —

A "possible threat" remains under investigation at Grove City College in Mercer County, according to police Sunday night.

Mercer County dispatchers first confirmed to Pittsburgh's Action News 4 on Sunday that police were on the scene at the university, which is located along Campus Drive in Grove City, Pennsylvania.

An email alert sent to students, which was later obtained by Action News 4, said that police were investigating a "potentially dangerous situation on the Grove City College campus."

The email said the incident was reported by the Buhl Library just before 5 p.m.
