Newman Smith went into their Week 3 bye at 0-2. Head coach Robert Boone and the program vowed they would be back with a vengeance once District 6-5A Division I got underway and they delivered. This week saw them score 64 unanswered against Molina after serving Sunset a similar loss 69-0 Sep. 18.

Creekview remained unbeaten with a strong second half against North Mesquite and Turner finds themselves at 3-1 overall, already matching their win total from 2024.
