Debbie Duncan, the mother of Lancashire teen Jay Slater , has hit out at conspiracy theorists on YouTube and TikTok in a new documentary about her son's disappearance.

Channel 4 is airing a documentary on Sunday night that will take a look back at the circumstances surrounding the Oswaldtwistle teenager's death in Tenerife in June of last year.

According to the broadcaster's website , the 1 hour and 20 minute film is the inside, exclusive story of what happened to Jay.

"It is the family’s story and follows them as they search for answers about what happened to Jay, witnessing the conspiracy theories raging online, the subsequent horrific abuse they received as a family, which is an hourly onslaught that continues to this day," the press release for the programm
