HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) - Police are investigating after two separate people walked into the emergency room with a gunshot wound on Sunday in Hartford.

Police heard about the first victim around 3:30 p.m.

According to Hartford police, a man walked into the hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. He is in stable condition.

Authorities were notified of the second victim around 5:00 p.m.

Investigators said this man had a gunshot wound to an outer extremity. He was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and was also listed in stable condition.

At this time, police have not located a scene for either shootings.

Authorities emphasized this was two separate incidents with different victims.

They are continuing to investigate exactly what happened.
