India thrashed Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2025 final, clinching a 9 th title on Sunday in Dubai. After bundling the arch-rivals for 146 in 20 overs, the defending champions chased down the target with 5 wickets in hand.

Needing 10 off the last over, Tilak deposited the controversial trouble monger Haris Rauf into mid-wicket stands before Rinku Singh, getting his first hit of the tournament, sent the Indian fans into delirium with a winning boundary.

After a historic win, head coach Gautam Gambhir took to his social media handle to share an encouraging post for his boys.

“In the end, INTENT always wins," Gambhir wrote on X.
