ATLANTA -- The Atlanta Falcons put last week's disappointing performance behind them with a 34-27 victory over the Washington Commanders at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sept. 28.
The game saw two Falcon offensive players achieve career highs. Running back Bijan Robinson had a career-high 106 receiving yards. His second 100-yard receiving game this season. The first was in the season-opening loss against Tampa Bay when he had 100 yards.
Quarterback Michael Penix also eclipsed his previous career high in passing by one yard. Penix threw for 313 yards. His previous career high came on the last day of the regular season at home against Carolina.
The Falcons have a bye next week before hosting the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football on Oct. 13
