The Browns led the Lions initially, scoring first in the first quarter; however, following the touchdown, Detroit controlled the game and held the Browns to three additional points. Despite the Browns' defense holding QB Jared Goff and the Lions to under 170 yards through the air, the Cleveland turnovers led to short fields for Detroit.
