GRAND FORKS — A woman had to be extracted from a vehicle after a crash Sunday afternoon, Sept. 28, in Grand Forks.
The crash occurred shortly after 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of South Washington Street and DeMers Avenue. According to a release from the Grand Forks Police Department, multiple 911 calls came to the department, noting that a victim was trapped inside a vehicle.
According to a report sent to the media, a 2005 Ford Taurus driven by a 69-year-old man was eastbound on DeMers when the Taurus struck a 2013 Dodge Journey driven by a 78-year-old woman. The impact caused the Dodge to roll.
The woman was extracted by the Grand Forks Fire Department and taken by ambulance to Altru Hospital, with non-life-threatening injuries.
