Team USA threatened a Ryder Cup miracle before falling short in their bid for a record comeback against Team Europe, leaving Keegan Bradley’s side under scrutiny for a home defeat in New York.

Europe ended a run of home success by claiming a dramatic 15-13 victory at Bethpage Black, where they dominated the first two days before surviving a valiant American fightback to claim a second successive victory.

Bradley's side won 8.5 points during the final day, equalling the most in the singles session, although were left to rue a slow start as Team Europe claimed a first away win - from either team - since 2012's 'Miracle at Medinah'.
