The final games of the 2025 MLB regular season are over, and the postseason is now set to get underway.

On Sunday, the Reds learned that they would qualify for the postseason for the first time since 2020, and for the first time in a full-length season since 2013. Advertisement

The Reds will now have to win four series in a row to potentially be crowned World Series Champions.

In total, there are 12 MLB teams who are in postseason contention, which includes six teams from each respective league.

The Reds so far only know for sure who they would face in the first two series: the Los Angeles Dodgers in the Wild Card Series, and the Philadelphia Phillies in the Division Series (if the Wild Card Series is won). Meanwhile the National League Championship Series and World Series both remain
