The champions of Asia Cup 2025 have denied taking the trophy from Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief and Asian Cricket Council (ACC) chairman Mohsin Naqvi. The Indian Team has taken a firm stand and refused to take the trophy from Naqvi, who was left standing on the stage while no one showed up.

After the match concluded, both the sides did not shake hands again and the Indian fans even started to boo and chant “Bharat Mata ki Jai” in the stadium. Even though Naqvi waited to present the trophy, no member from the Indian side went on the stage and someone from the organisers took the trophy to the Indian dressing room.
