The terrible turf at MetLife Stadium strikes again. New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers was the latest victim in Week 4 against the Los Angeles Chargers. The second-year WR went down halfway through the second quarter and had to be carted to the locker room, with reports soon after suggesting Nabers likely tore his ACL.

The Giants still managed to get their first win of the 2025 NFL season on Sunday, beating the Chargers 21-18, with rookie QB Jaxson Dart leading the offense. The team opted to bench Russell Wilson earlier in the week, and didn’t look to veteran Jameis Winston, but rather named Dart the starter. Nabers had two catches for 20 yards before leaving the game, and with Dart at quarterback, they leaned a little more on their running backs than their receivers.
