Video circulating on social media shows a violent road rage encounter in shopping center parking lot on Saturday.

Social media posts indicate the incident occurred at a shopping center located at Francisquito and Sunset avenues in West Covina.

In the footage, two sedans – one silver and one gray – can be seen pursuing each other through the parking lot.

Almost like a demolition derby, the two cars were seen driving into each other, causing items to fly out of both vehicles. Bewildered bystanders were heard gasping and shouting as the drivers followed each other up and down the parking lot aisles, colliding into each other on purpose.

It was not immediately clear what prompted the incident. It is also not known if the police were called.
