The 13th edition of the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup gets underway on September 30, with India and Sri Lanka jointly hosting the marquee event. The tournament packs in 31 clashes across 34 action-filled days. Every game begins at 3 PM IST, except the New Zealand vs England match on October 26.

India is hosting the Women’s ODI World Cup for the fourth occasion, having previously done so in 1978, 1997 and 2013. Meanwhile, Sri Lanka is playing host for the very first time.

An all-women panel of match officials has been appointed to oversee the tournament. The prize pool has escalated sharply to $13.88 million (about Rs 123.1 crore), representing nearly a four-fold increase from the previous tournament in 2022.
