ATLANTA — The Atlanta Falcons needed Sunday’s win over the Washington Commanders for any number of reasons.
They needed to bounce back from last week’s catastrophe against the Carolina Panthers. They needed to avoid falling to 1-3 for the first time in four years. But maybe as important as anything, they needed to avoid the sting of losing to former Falcons head coach Dan Quinn and quarterback Marcus Mariota, both now Commanders. ×
