ROTTERDAM — A proposed $24.9 million budget would increase spending by less than $50,000 next year as Rotterdam lawmakers move to slash spending and prioritize infrastructure upgrades.

The calls for $48,803 in new spending across the town’s general and highway funds, representing just a 0.2% increase compared to the current $24.8 million spending plan.
