Three new Amrit Bharat Express trains are set to improve connectivity in Bihar. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Saturday announced that seven trains will run from Patna Junction from Today (September 30). The Union Minister will flag off the trains on Monday via video conferencing.
The Commoner-friendly Amrit Bharat Express is a major gift from the Centre to the people of Bihar ahead of Diwali and assembly elections. The trains will run from Muzaffarpur to Charlapalli (near Hyderabad), from Darbhanga to Madar Junction (near Ajmer), and from Chhapra to Anand Vihar Terminal (Delhi).
The Muzaffarpur–Charlapalli Express train is the first Amrit Bharat train service to South India, while the Chhapra–Anand Vihar Express is the sixth Amrit Bharat train connection to the national capital.
