TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - It’s an all hands on deck effort to help in the aftermath of devastating flooding this week in Globe, leaving three people reported dead, and some of that help is coming from southern Arizona.

The Southern Arizona Rescue Association volunteers are always on standby to take their trucks past county lines.

“We are always ready and able to respond to those requests even in the middle of the night,” SARA rescuer Amy Dimiceli said. “That’s why a lot of us signed up for this, it’s to help our neighbors.”

After they got a midnight call on Friday, their boots were laced up and heading to Gila County where flooding had devasted the city of Globe.

“Search the debris, search the vehicles that had been swept away, see if they can find any other potential victims,” Dimicel
