Packers trading Romeo Doubs idea turned into career-best stats vs. Cowboys just weeks later

It's not clear whether the Green Bay Packers ever considered this for a moment.

But pretty much every NFL prognosticator threw it out there at some point during the offseason. The idea: The Packers should trade Romeo Doubs.

Good thing they didn't.

On Sunday Night Football in Week 4, on the road playing the Dallas Cowboys , Doubs had a career night.

The Packers wouldn't have been in the game without him.

Doubs finished with five grabs for 52 yards in regulation, not astounding just by those measures.
