Moving away from home is always hard but Sean Longstaff is finally finding his feet at Leeds United after undergoing the first transfer of his career.

The midfielder, who spent nearly two decades at Newcastle United, was the man of the match in Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Bournemouth , recording his first goal and assist for the Whites following his £12million summer transfer.

After a period of adaptation, Longstaff has now “taken his chance”, according to manager Daniel Farke, by starting the last four matches. His performance on Saturday warranted a goal and his strike off the inside of the post put Leeds 2-1 up nine minutes after half-time, before Bournemouth’s stoppage-time equaliser denied him the winner.
