A person has suffered multiple injuries following a crash outside a primary school on Monday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the corner of March Street and Nile Street outside Orange East Public School at about 3.45pm on September 29.

A spokesperson for NSW Ambulance Service said the crash involved two vehicles, one of which was pulling a trailer and rolled onto its side.

"One patient has declined further assessment," they said.

"The other patient has suffered neck, chest, abdominal and hip injuries and will be taken to Orange Hospital."

It is understood the person being taken to hospital is a man in his 40s and the injuries were described by a paramedic on scene as "minor".

NSW Police have been contacted for further comment.
