Missouri handled its business against UMass with a dominant 42-6 victory on Saturday night at Memorial Stadium. There was never much doubt about the outcome, but the way the No. 20 Tigers got there showed plenty of familiar threads — some encouraging, others still nagging.

A suffocating defensive front, a run game that continues to wear teams down and a quarterback who set a school record highlighted the evening.
