NEW PHILADELPHIA — The Linsly Cadets football team took a loss on the road this past Friday, falling to New Philadelphia 49-7.
The loss moves the Cadets to 1-4 on the season. Linsly stays on the road for their next game against Barnesville, which last week had their 42-game regular season win streak snapped.
Braden Wade passed for 126 yards while rushing for a team-high 32 yards. George Mamakos ran for a touchdown on one of his four rushes. Mamakos also had 34 receiving yards. Justin Heckman led the Cadets in receiving with 44 yards.
Matteo Lorini pulled down an interception for Linsly.
