The Statesville arcade bar Tilt Beachcade closed this weekend.

"After an amazing run, TILT Beachcade will be closing our doors on Saturday, September 27th at midnight," the business said on its Facebook page last week. "We can’t thank you enough for all the love, laughter, and support you’ve shared with us. While it’s bittersweet to say goodbye, this isn’t the end—something new and exciting is coming to this space SOON, and we can’t wait to share it with you."

Located at 121 North Center Street in Statesville, Jason Cole and Andi Chadwick opened the arcade bar in April . At the time of opening, Cole touted the equal doses of nostalgia and gaming, along with food and drink, as draws to get patrons in the door.
