Balasore: Tensions erupted in Odisha’s Soro area on Sunday night following a heated exchange between IIC Sudipta Sahu and some youths, who allegedly obstructed a road stretch by putting up a LED screen near Court Square to watch the Asia Cup final match between India and Pakistan.

According to sources, the police officer came across the obstruction while patrolling and directed them to clear the stretch. The situation escalated when one among the youths slapped the ICC, following which police beat him up and took him into custody.
