Miley Cyrus has revealed her home in Malibu, California has almost been rebuilt, seven years after it was destroyed in a wildfire. The Wrecking Ball hitmaker tragically lost her home in the 2018 Woolsey Fire, and she will soon be able to return to the property following a lengthy rebuild process. "I'm very excited, because I've been working on a rebuild. I lost my house in the Woolsey Fire and have been rebuilding now for the last five years. It looks like it's going to be all ready for me in the next couple of weeks," she told Pamela Anderson during a conversation for CR Fashion Book, before repeating that she was "so excited". Miley lived in the Malibu home with her on-off partner, Liam Hemsworth, until it was destroyed in the natural disaster in November 2018. The 32-year-old was filming Black Mirror in South Africa at the time. The couple got married the following month, but separated seven months later in August 2019. Their divorce was finalised in January 2020. The Midnight Sky singer has spoken often about the impact of the fire on her life. Earlier this year, she described her house burning down as "the biggest blessing (she's) ever had in (her) life," because it gave her a fresh start. "Losing everything and being able to rebuild, and to be able to be purposeful and choose every piece that I'm gonna collect or also just about the people in my life," she explained during a screening of her visual album Something Beautiful, reports People. "And I guess for me, when my house burned down, a lot of my relationships also burned down, and that again just led me to such magic and to have so much gratitude."
