India spinner Varun Chakaravarthy is celebrating the team’s historic 9th Asia Cup triumph in his own style. Earlier this year, after India won the Champions Trophy, Chakaravarthy shared a witty post on Instagram enjoying a cuppa while posing with the silverware at the team hotel.
The 34-year-old continued the tradition but with a twist.
With Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman walking away with the trophy and team medals after India refused to share the stage with him during the presentation ceremony, the players celebrated with an “invisible trophy" with several of them later sharing images on social media with trophy emojis.
