Once a fuel tank reaches full capacity , drivers will notice a distinctive click sound when attempting to depress the nozzle further. Many motorists mistakenly believe that maintaining pressure on the pump will continue filling the tank and provide additional range.

Nevertheless, experts have cautioned that this practice could prove more detrimental than beneficial, potentially causing damage to vehicles.
