EVERETT, MA. (WGGB/WSHM) - The results from the 2025 MCAS tests are expected to be released on Monday at Ottoson Middle School in Arlington, according to the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).
The results will highlight several dozen school districts across the Bay State whose scores returned to pre-pandemic levels in either Mathematics, English Language Arts, or both.
There will be a press briefing later today led by Education Secretary Dr. Patrick Tutwiler, DESE commissioner Pedro Martinez, and the department’s Chief Officer for Data, Assessment and Accountability Rob Curtin.
This year’s results include a new eighth-grade civics test, and the data isn’t including whether schools are entering or exiting underperforming or chronically underperforming
