North Korean Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui met with her Chinese counterpart Wang Yi and Premier Li Qiang in Beijing, state media have reported.
Choe's visit marks a step towards closer ties between the two countries after a period of North Korean isolation.
In the meetings, all agreed to deepen bilateral ties and resist hegemonism or unilateralism, a likely reference to their pushbacks against the United States.
Choe's visit came about three weeks after North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and Chinese President Xi Jinping held their first summit in more than six years and pledged mutual support and enhanced cooperation.
Choe is expected to leave Beijing Tuesday, according to official reports.
