TAMPA, Fla. — The Eagles didn’t run the tush push Sunday during their 31-25 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers , but they did score two touchdowns because of it.
The first one came on their opening offensive possession. Already ahead 7-0 after Sydney Brown returned a block punt for a touchdown , the Eagles looked to go up by two scores when Jalen Hurts set up a first-and-goal from the two-yard line. The quarterback then lined up the way he does when he’s about to force his way into the end zone — left leg square to the line of scrimmage and right leg back — while the Bucs placed six down defenders just in front of the goal line.
