A gunman who shot a man in the foot in east Manchester is yet to be found after nine days.

Officers sealed off the area surrounding Ryder Brow pocket park, in Gorton , on Saturday, September 20.

Greater Manchester Police said officers found a bullet in the victim's shoe after attending the scene at 12.15am.

Fortunately, the 22-year-old victim escaped with just a graze, police said.

GMP described the suspect as an 'unknown man' as an investigation into the incident took place.
