PARMA HEIGHTS, Ohio — Valley Forge High School in Parma Heights is mourning the loss of 16-year-old Aniaz Paradiso, who was killed in a Cleveland shooting early Sunday morning.

In an email to families, Principal Janine Andrzejewski shared the news with what she described as “profound sadness,” writing that Paradiso was “adventurous and full of energy” and “lived life to the fullest, making lasting memories wherever he went.”

“And what will be remembered most,” Andrzejewski said, “is his warm, infectious smile, a smile that lit up any room.”

Paradiso was a member of Valley Forge’s junior class. He had also attended Shiloh Middle School and Parma High School before becoming a Patriot in ninth grade.
